riyadh desert jewel
2000 SQM Mansion in the heart of Riyadh, A Harmonious Fusion of Tradition and Modernity. This project involves designing a 2000 sqm luxury mansion in Riyadh, with a strong emphasis on privacy, user experience, and the cultural significance of hospitality and social gatherings. The design will reflect the client's lifestyle while respecting local building codes and regulations.
SPACE PLANNING
GROUND FLOOR
The initial planning focuses on creating a layout that offers both privacy and comfort. The design caters to the Saudi appreciation for large, open spaces, especially in areas intended for hospitality and social gatherings. We’ve added three separate entrances one for service, one for guests, and a private family entrance to maintain privacy while enhancing functionality. The flow between public and private spaces is carefully
considered, ensuring the home supports both intimate family living and grand social events. Additionally, the majlis and dining room are positioned to provide a good view of the mansion’s garden, with the dining room designed parallel to the kitchen, linked by a service path for seamless access.
FIRST FLOOR PLAN
The first-floor space planning prioritizes noise management and separation, ensuring a balanced and serene living environment. We divided the entire floor into two distinct sides, separated by a large double-height opening that features a stunning skylight and a carefully placed spiral staircase, serving as a focal point for both the guest and family entrances. One side of the floor is dedicated to three bedroom suites, a gym, and a storage area, while the other side houses a full bedroom suite with a large dressing room, two bathrooms, a private living room, an office, and an additional spacious family living room for gatherings.
